Toasty day here at the Mile Hi City...we hit pretty darn close to 100F.

???? Several Lunies have ridden RAGBRAI, so I'd like to tap into some of your experience! One of the golf gals plans on riding RAGBARI this year for the first time. She asked me what she should bring on her bike each day. The list for any long ride really doesn't change much even with location, but it might be important here with all that humidity. RAGBRAI might be a rolling party, but it's also a tough ride. Wondered what those of you who have taken a shot at this one would recommend! Please advise!

6th Lunar Landing Approaching !!! (really soon!) We have 620,596 m* to go.....so it is likely going to be Saturday unless we get a major meter piggy bank emptying!

* I see your questions mardix - and will answer them more fully tomorrow. We are numerically faster...but. Bike erg meters are listed as equivalent on our totals, and we all know that that is just not true. So. There is a dilemma that as yet is unresolved. Bike erg meters get counted the same as other erg machine meters when being compiled for the million meter clubs. The ONLY time that bike erg meters are halved is during a challenge, and I think as a bike erger that it is because in the same time period you cover 2:1 meters on the bike erg. The time between lunar landings is therefore different with the advent of the bike erg. Bike ergs have been around since ...2018 or 2019? I got mine in 2019. What to do, what to do? In terms of distance covered, does it matter what type of "vehicle" gets us there?

Lots of busy, and couldn't believe that I am three days worth of posting behind! We do what we can, when we can.
