Sub 7 Indoor Rowing Club (UK)
Re: Sub 7 Indoor Rowing Club (UK)
I'm very confident that you guys will be setting entrely new standards if you're still erging into your third age - I really hope you do as its an excellent way to stay fit. We all have our place and I'm happy if 95th %ile or better so we know there's a few out there (Nick R on here and Richerd Cheeseman just two of them) who are in a totally different league on the longer stuff and the same age as me - you'll be comparing scores with their legacy not mine!

That's very rareified air when we're talking about Nick and Richard, and I've never been, nor will be, as good as them. I'm consistently amazed at their abilities.MPx wrote: ↑June 11th, 2024, 5:49 pmI'm very confident that you guys will be setting entrely new standards if you're still erging into your third age - I really hope you do as its an excellent way to stay fit. Re: Sub 7 Indoor Rowing Club (UK)
I bagged a British Record on 20 October. Marathon madness in 3:39.56.9. Not earth shattering fast but all I could do on the day - back was tightening badly for the last hour. Had to get in quick before the big 6-0 and also even more contenders in 55-59 LWT ladies category which is growing with quite a few famous names and faces.

Hopefully will get to BRIC. Planning also for Irish in November.

Hey Susan good to see you posting again. Many congrats on netting a record for the marathon - rather you than me! Just looked them up and here you are in full glory.
Also really impressive to see Carol and Georgie still holding on to so many of the records long after they've clicked up to other categories.
I'll give you a wave at BRIC. As usual I'll be there watching not competing and cheering you all on!
