PM 5 latest FW: Wireless defaults off

Before the last FW update, I just had to open ErgData, turn on the PM5 and everything would connect. Since updating to the latest PM5 FW, I now have to push the connect button on the pm5. It seems wireless is off until it is pressed. Is there something in the settings to change this? It is only a minor inconvenience, but it would be nice to have it connect without pushing any buttons.

Odd. As ErgData isn't complaining, I'm assuming mine has the latest firmware. And mine doesn't display this behaviour. But I use an USB stick in the back to store data.

Knowing which Erg the PM5 lives on can perhaps result in a more specific answer.
On the Concept2 website, I see 11 versions of the latest firmware, so I assume
there are differences https://www.concept2.com/service/monitors/pm5/firmware

I have FW 173. I didn’t see anything related in the release notes. I tried my old USB, but it didn’t help. Strangely enough, my HRM that was saved to the USB connected immediately. It seems I’m the only one with this problem, so I guess next I’ll try resetting things…
