Thanks mate! I calculated the splits to be every 4690 meters or ~20 min because that is how I've been training. Much easier to accomplish these long rows in smaller 20 min bites. Ya I could have "emptied the tank" at the end but really wanted to see if I could keep my HR under 160bpm. No real issues to report this time. First of all, big congratulations on going sub three hours. That's a big milestone. The OCD effort is excellent as it's a lot easier to achieve it using time rather than distance, especially as I assume there were rough moments in there?
If there weren't, then you can definitely go faster

Rating up to ~40 felt ugly, technique was probably pretty average. Was a bit fatigued from 7000m the day before, so reckon I could do better. I've had my heart rate up to 182 on longer rows, so don't feel like I was close enough to my max there either.
That got me a #1 in the rankings for my age group for 2024 , but that'll be short lived as there are only 5 entries for the season so far

I've posted my best rows on the "log" page, I'm not sure that is the same as a logbook? It's just the distances, times and pace, not the breakdowns. To get the full stats I see from the C2 I think there's an additional step, such as using a USB? Sorry, very new to all this.

Are you using ergdata when rowing? Doing so enables you to directly sync with your logbook account on c2 server and you don't have to transfer the data manually. You will get some additional data, like HR and stroke data, and you can copy your splits from your logbook in this case
I think stroke length can only be seen on the fly, not synced to your logbook. But yes, much data can be seen during the workout, and you can setup PM5 and ergdata to show different metrics at the same time, which is an advantage. I just had a go at this and it's very confusing as there seems to be 2 different apps for the C2, one called "ErgData" and one called ErgData for PM3 PM4, which is a bit older. The older version of the app appears to have the sync function, but the new one does not. With the older app, it appears to be PM5 compatible, but doesn't seem to have BT connectivity. Is the "C2 cable" just a regular iphone cable with USB on one end? Do I need to use that to sync data on my C2 with my logbook?
Yep, makes sense. I wanted to retrospectively transfer all the data from my C2 to the logbook, which I was able to do using a USB and the Concept2 Utility app on the Mac. When you programmed a row and you have performed it, then use the upper left three-dots menu and select "save and..." - show logbook. This will trigger the sync/upload. At least this is how I do it.
