More to come next season
Thx Mike!
And again, well done.Sakly wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2023, 6:30 amToday my last missing row for my season goal: first serious HM TT to reach 95th percentile of my group.
To get this goal the minimum required pace was 1:54. My recent 60min was at 1:50.9, so I decided to go for target pace 1:52 with aim to go as flat as possible.

Thank you, Nick
That's killer! Congrats
Yeah, isn't it?
You have done a lot of impressive rows this season but this one was really good. A sub 1:52 pace for an HM is just strong! I would like to say I will try and match this at some point but I don't think I can. Stu can battle you for rows of over 10K and longer and I can battle you for under 5K and I think we all can battle each other at 5K.Sakly wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2023, 6:30 amToday my last missing row for my season goal: first serious HM TT to reach 95th percentile of my group.

The 60min was 112m further, the HM is 40s off yours, what equates to ~180m. So it seems the further the distance the greater the difference
I think you are on point about our abilities to battle
Hahaha, I definitely need to do a strong HM as I've struggled a bit with it ever since that magical day when I did my PB.winniewinser wrote: ↑April 25th, 2023, 3:58 amWatches on with interest ....and absolutely no thoughts of ever contributing on this thread again

I might give it a go in the first two weeks of May for the C2 challenge, especially now the Pete Plan is starting to rebuild my confidence
we'll see There's a long way to go until I'm back to my best but things are improving. I'm still a bit bothered by the wheezing I get at higher rates / effort, but I need to find a way around that
And your best is way better than my now, but I will keep improving as wellDangerscouse wrote: ↑April 25th, 2023, 10:21 amwe'll see There's a long way to go until I'm back to my best but things are improving.

And by leaning a little to the left periodically, I was able to mitigate the pain in my right glute/hamstring...
