Going to find a new home for my Dyno (US-Michigan)

Hi, I'm in Michigan (Detroit area) and I have a Concept2 dyno with a working force monitor. It did come to me used with some acid damage in the battery holder, but cleaned up reasonably and has never given me any trouble. It has the manual and is hardware complete. Would prefer to sell it as a unit. If no one would be interested in the complete unit, I would remove the force monitor and sell it to someone who needs one and scrap the unit after any parts are sold that avid owners need. Obviously, pickup is preferred here for the whole thing. I have shippers that can handle this as my hobby is coin-operated equipment and I ship equipment reasonably often, but the shipping rates would definitely not make you want it anymore due to the freight rates being really outrageous and those rates taken up by space used in trucks (so shipping assembled, it's 8ft long).

I totally get the whole shipping issue, freight rates are just through the roof nowadays. If you're willing to disassemble it for shipping, you might get a bit more interest, but local pickup is definitely the best option financially. You could try listing it on local classifieds or local Facebook groups, someone might be on the hunt for one nearby.

Before you ship, though, it's super important to double check the buyer's information. Make sure you have a confirmed address, and it might not be a bad idea to do a quick and easy web-based verification on them - just to ensure you're sending your prized possession to the right person. Better safe than sorry, right?

Also, remember to take high-quality pictures when you post it, a good visual representation can be the deciding factor for many buyers. And keep all those proof of maintenance and your manual handy, they can add to the value!
