Germania, in only their third appearance this season, finished the 1km January challenge at the head of the leaderboard. Congratulations.

The Diamonds went one better than their record of last month in launching sixty-one boats on our virtual river. Outstanding.

Red Line Rowers have the May challenge.

Future Challengers:
March - The Diamonds
April - Sub7
May - Red Line Rowers

Hi Citreon,

I have a team of firefighters who are keen erg users and we would love to start a boat.
we have 5 members one is a FEMALE and one lightweight.
As we are new to this, how do we get started for our first challenge.

Mitch

Each of you needs to sign up.
I'll create "The Firefighters" team for you to join.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the reminder. I've marked it on my calendar.

Auntie Carole was a force for good. She made our sport better.

Somehow not available to me (when logged in) as it's back to the monthly challenge and now closed for entries.
I did do it in 5:49.5, which was faster than last year. So probably no need to memorialise it with an entry.

.

Apologies to Team Oarsome as the team I run, The Diamonds (Over Sixties Erging Group) had a lot of rows that were were unable to be entered on the 14th for the 1402 Memorial CTC.

I had asked everyone to contribute a score to the memory of the lovely Carole but the late change over of the scoreboard meant that my members in Australia and New Zealand were in bed by the time they could have got their scores on.

The what looked like early change back to the February CTC then ruled out a lot of my members in the USA and Canada.

Next year I will ask what time the change overs will be then I will be able to better inform my members so that all our scores can go on.

Thanks Dougie but there are a heck of a lot so best to leave it.

I'll check the opening and closing times with you next time so I can try and organise my lot a bit better.

Thanks Dougie that will be a big help plus changing it back to the monthly challenge around midday on the 15th (like the usual monthly change over) will enable all the US and Canadian folk to get their scores on as there are a lot of our members there with different time zones from coast to coast 👍

It doesn't work like that. The rules are midnight on 14th to midnight on 15th.
