As to me - thanks for all the encouragement along the way, everyone. I just finished the last workout of week 24. I can't believe it!
Going to watch some older movie tomorrow while steadily putting the meters of a half-marathon behind me. Crazy as it sounds to me - not even worried about it, because I know keeping the heart rate around 140 will be time-consuming and sweat-inducing but totally sustainable.
After that I think I'll get right back into BPP - but for steady sessions, I'll refer to the time it took me on the first run and make them time-limited (my first 5k was... 24m10s, pace 2:25/500m. That seems so slow now; my last steady (16.5k) ended up at 2:08/500m. So I reckon if I make my BPP 1.1 limited to the time of 24:10, I might even get to 6k instead of 5k
