Ditto Kristine's sentiments. Thanks for all that you do, K2, during the holiday season and throughout the year to promote "Looney" fun and all around good spirit.

And thanks, AJ, for your fun reindeer artwork.

And Concept2 deserves kudos for creating a challenge to support a selected charity. I'm sure it encouraged MANY extra meters.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

One of the traditions we Lunies have is the virtual New Year's Eve party. We ask our Lunie teammates what virtual drink they would choose to be served, and then either danwho or Jane runs to bar! Not sure who is doing that this year, but we can help them start working on the drinks preparation by letting them know what they would chose for their drinks!!

I'm choosing an old fashioned this time around....and might be good if it could be carried St Bernard like by my Goldens...just in case the polar vortex returns! Snowing again !!

Never hurts to get the drink orders in early!

I'll start with a B.A. That's equal parts Bourbon (Basel Hayden if you have it) and Amaretto on the rocks. A surprisingly good drink, born on an interminable trans-Pacific flight in the '80's, and named after the late, great B.A. Baracus.

Now that I'm thinking about it, better make that a double :D

Snow is deep enough at the remote location that the pups have appreciated the fun of having some tunnels dug for them to navigate through the snow. In fact, they get very excited about this new game maze. Naturally, this also helps humans get from point A to B without as much work too.

Meanwhile, many Lunies are continuing on with erging meters even though we are in "the time between" Challenges! Shows the power of habitual exercising - you kind of miss it when you've devoted so much time to it in the last month or more! Keep going, Lunies!

For my New Year's Eve drink, I'd like to have a KGB (Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Bailey's) coffee. With whipped cream, of course! Thanks!

Starting to see a few more virtual drink orders - that’s good!

In absence of hearing back from Jane (aka Guinan), I’m asking Danwho to be our bartender! Thanks, Dan!

The winter challenge has evolved into being a tradition in my life. This challenge will earn me my 14th Challenge Pin. If anything, I can gauge how as I get older my split times are not as low as they used to be and my stamina and endurance has let up some. It is the natural progression of ageing ... all is good. Being involved with the team has brought so much enjoyment.

Speaking of tradition, I decorated a tree for the first time in 20 years.. this is a bit late but please enjoy an old fashioned holiday scene.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_jhJma ... amieBrewer

Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and safe 2023...
