Trying out typing with gloves on (works ok except for right click)....it's pretty darn cold here! It's a two sweatshirt day!
The temperatures dropped 37 degrees in 10 minutes yesterday afternoon and we knew we were in for it! Currently minus 8F and seven inches of snow. Dogs see the snow and really want to romp...for about two minutes! Paw protectors are on. At least for the moment!

The final stretch this next day and a half....and then we have a BUSY BUSY night flight! Get those meters done, Lunies!!

And here in the Frozen Tundra that is currently Colorado, a pipe(s) has frozen...despite actions taken to keep that from happening. The floodgates have not opened, and the plumber people are scheduled in one of those four hour windows where they usually call you at 3 hr and 50 minutes to say they are on their way. Not complaining, just saying how it seems to be! Keep yer fingers and reindeer hooves crossed Lunies. Stuff happens when a polar vortex sits right on top of your state...and there's not much you can do about it!

Ed's within NINE meters of getting ONE million meters in this Challenge! What a comeback!

Thanks, Jeff ! I looked back at the Lunie Chronicles through the search bar for our almost 2000 page forum to answer about how and when the reindeer came to be...and it was on November 29, 2010 during the 2010 Holiday Challenge. It started innocently enough with me using a cartoon of reindeer games. Turned out that Chip Dystrka was the first Lunie to make the honor board that year with a total of 101K - at a time when only 16 people were on the honor board, so I put the reindeer picture we now use up for him since he had reached 100K...with the only name designation being a reindeer named Chip. The LUNIE TEAM took it from there with Danno, Minnie and multiple others running with the idea. AJ thought the reindeer needed accessories such as Antler Lights, and was working on some new graphics tools. So AJ brought us the reindeer bling images. The following season was when we designated what bling went with what accessory. So I will take credit for generating the idea of earning your reindeer, but it really just sort of happened and we all ran with it - which is kind of how teamwork becomes legendary! Cool that once again this year Chip was the first Lunie reindeer, too.
