long time lurker, for what its worth im just completing the beginner recommit programme with Eric. Have to say its been terrific in motivating someone like myself to actually form some sort of consistency and fitness. Im 52, bit overweight and very inconsistent in my motivation especially in the winter months as my rower is in the shed and i also work outdoors. Its easy to use lots of variety if you want to flick about but the programme i am doing has been hard enough to have me on the brink with its calculated splits that im about to die but havent. Other thing i have found really useful is the camera angle over erics shoulder which allows you to row along trying to form better strokes

That's great. The key is finding what can motivate you to stick with a plan.

I enjoy rowing with the Asensei app. My biggest gripe continues to be the inability to adjust the target pace. Asensei has some unrealistic goals some days for me!

I also really enjoy rowing along with Eric. He is very motivating. I try to row with his live videos every Sunday. Many of these eventually make it on the app. Where else can we train with an olympic champion? I pay my Asensei fees just to help subsidize this type of content.
