Alaska Dan escaped the dwindling daylight hours of Alaska for a few days...and true to form, found things to photograph that most of us won't ever see! With his permission, I share these photos of the endangered monk seal - look at those white eyebrows, and the slits of its eyes! And, as good as the monk seal is, the wild chicken's dance of defense or exuberance (one never knows!) truly appeals to me! That is one lucky chicken (so far).
