Must've been the weekend for Christmas tree harvesting! Counted 74 forest cut trees being transported on vehicle rooftops or in pickup beds during a one hour drive in the mountains on Saturday! Surprised - we've had so many wildfires in the area that I didn't think the forest service would be giving out permits, yet that is part of the management protocol!
