Oversight certainly. There is a live link to this thread below the terms of challenge on the challenge site but most won’t see it and one or more wiseacres will of course Dave Brubeck the rest periods.Jack Be Trimble wrote: ↑September 1st, 2022, 9:04 amI see that the Sept. workout is 8 x 2’ with 2’ rest, but the rest duration is not indicated on the main page. Might save some confusion if that is updated.
Cheers

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
The August CTC saw a return of the mad team to the top of the leaderboard. Well done!
The Diamonds broke their CTC record by floating 45 boats on the virtual river. Great stuff!
As a result, the December CTC, under current rules, goes to the Diamonds.
Future Challengers:
October: The Diamonds
November:: Fitness Matters
December: The Diamonds
The previous formula for awarding challenges gave equal weight to months since the previous challenge and boats launched. When FIRT floated 42 boats, it was decided by vote to adopt the current situation which gives double the weight to the months.
Regards,
Joe

Hi, I have forgotten my password for the CTC, could someone please reset it for me. I have 2 CTC ids: JBH and Jon Burch-Hyson, I tend to use JBH but could you reset both please.
Many thanks

The Diamonds (Over Sixties Erging Group)
Have chosen the October CTC.
It's going to be;
The Super Sixties Stopping 6k
3 x 2k with 2 minute recoveries.
No restrictions.
First rep from a stationary Flywheel, rolling starts ok after that.
Hopefully that will prove enjoyable for all and get a good turn out.

67 year old, 72 kilo (159lbs), 5'8''/174cm (always the shortest on the podium!) male. Based just south of London.
Best rows as an over 60. One Hour.....16011 metres. 30 mins.....8215 metres. 100k 7hrs 14 mins.

The Mad Team once again finished at the head of the leaderboard. Well done!
The Diamonds broke their own record of last month by launching 47 boats on the virtual river. That's an outstanding participation of 235 rowers.
Future Challengers:
November - Fitness Matters
December - The Diamonds
January - Gee Crew

Hi guys,
Whoever is in charge of changing team names, could we request that “Whitby Friendship ARC” has its name changed to simply:
“Whitby Rowers”
Thanks all
