I have a Ski Erg and want to increase the drag and read that you can remove the Damper Ring which is installed on it by default.
How do I remove this? I can't see anything in any of the manuals on how to take this off this and not sure if I need to remove the whole front section to unclip / unscrew it?
Thanks
How to remove Damper Ring?
Re: How to remove Damper Ring?
Hi Moog,
from the schematics I would try to unscrew the Hub-Cap (if possible).

If this does not work, I would disassemble the Flywheel-housing. Quite easy to do.

But why would you need to increase the drag factor?
regards
Dominik

Yes, the cap needs to be taken off, and than remove the ring. Putting it back, just the other way around.Moog wrote: ↑July 9th, 2022, 3:03 amI have a Ski Erg and want to increase the drag and read that you can remove the Damper Ring which is installed on it by default.

Btw not needed for average use. Only for pure raw sprinting, more drag helps a good bit. Slows the fan better, so you have time to pull against the spinning wheel.
