Seat lock?

Is there a way to lock the seat so it can't slide when the rower is not in use? Looking to secure our rower from curious kids. Thanks!

Bungee cord will do it.

Yes on the bungee cord, or maybe a rubber door stop would do the trick.

Maybe tying a sweater, or something similar, around the monorail if you want to keep it really simple?

I guess it depends on their age, if they can figure out how to remove it and how much time they would have.

I always just put a bike lock on the mechanism

If it's just incidental I'd take the rail off (quick release) and store it upright.
