Great Customer Service

Post by RR » April 17th, 2022, 4:22 am

Just a few lines to thank Concept 2 USA for great after sales service.
I bought my BikeErg through Incept Sports in Paris in Sept 2019. The following february, corrosion started to appear on the pedal cranks. These were replaced through C2 USA after I contacted Incept Sports.
Over the course of the following year or so, corrosion started to appear on the base feet of the BE. It was my intention to strip the machine down and address the problem.
The machine is in a spare room at home together with a RowErg(which shows no signs of corrosion) and a treadmill as well as some metal kettlebells which are also rust free.
I was tidying up in the room and giving all machines a good wipe down when I noticed a large amount of bubbling on the paint of the main body of the BE.
I sweat a lot on the BE but always wipe the machine down with a clean dry towel and no sweat dripping on to feet and legs of BE during sessions
Anyway, I took pictures of the problem areas and emailed then to C2 USA. I got a quick response from them to say they would like to get the machine back to see if they could identify the reasons for the deterioration.
They arranged a replacement BE through the warranty to be delivered to me at my home in France through Incept Sports. Incep Sports contacted me with updates and details all the way through the process.
The new BE arrived on friday and I got it set up yesterday and boxed the old machine up ready to be picked up next week.
New regime will include use of a fan and bandana to reduce amount of sweat as a precautionary measure.
Many thanks to C2 USA and Incept Sports in Paris

We're probably preaching to the choir here on the forum, but I heartily agree that C2 is the best when it comes to customer service. A most trustworthy company.

Totally agree rick
UK just as good. RR Jnr snapped his bungee chord the week before his World Champs race. I messaged MD Alex Dunne straight away and he sorted it out with delivery of order of new one next day

I bought both an RowErg and BikeErg from Incept last year, and it indeed went smoothly.

I however chose to replace my broken pedal myself for a better quality one.
