Yeah will focus on the rower throughout the SH winter and then back to more skierg from September with an eye on the November 1k sprints.
March-August row focused.
September-February ski focused.
Makes sense for the challenges and the weather (don't want to be rowing when it's 40degC, but gym where I skierg has good aircon).
Now all I need to do is avoid training ADD.

I remember it well. It never really rains... but it never really stops either.
Sub 7 will be the focus actually. The TdS underlined how hard it is to do lots of flat out TTs and in my - ahem - very late 40s, I don't think it's possible to do justice to the 10 pieces I've got on my sig for both ergs. That would be a flat out TT every 2.5 weeks or so, which just isn't achievable.
So yep, sub 7 hopefully, before I get too old.

Been looking forward to rowing a fast 1k during World Virtual Indoor sprints, but I’m honestly disappointed by this one. I’ve worked night shifts on 7 of the past 9 nights and my sleep quality has been very poor. I think I’m closer to 2:52 speed if I’m well rested and doing it on a good day. Im going to keep at the 500/1000m training and give it another go later this spring

a PR is a PR - congratulations! sorry you didn't hit your goal speed but not surprising given your lack of sleep
I'm looking at that sr - wowee, you must be really motoring. Inspiring to me. I'm trying to get my rate up from 35 to 37 for my 1k this weekend - you're taller than me and getting 5 more than my goal speed. Well done
(also...there's 2 days left...you think you can rest up and go again?)
