Nice one, well done.
Thanks 😊

It felt quite good, I am almost sure that this was not the absolute max. I could control the pace though the complete run, but in the end it was hard, so not 20% left 😅
But I think I can beat this again.

Massive milestone achieved. Many people won't ever achieve it, or spend years trying, so big congratulations for getting it so early on in your rowing life.

Ideally you want to increase your stroke rate as there's some 'free pace' there, but the pacing is really good and that finish shows you probably just need a bit more confidence to get another couple of seconds off.

Congrats on the 2k PB. My 2k is exactly the same 6:58.2 but at 33spm.

I expect you will get to 6:40 pretty shortly, your progress so far has been immense.

Excellent! Many will agree that the sub 7:00 2K might be the best milestone there is. You have obtained it quickly and I figured you had it in you already. Very encouraging to see the last 500 faster too - with overall solid pacing.

What a great response - thank you all 😊

This shows the great foundation built through my training all the years before. It tranfers well to other sports, obviously pretty good to rowing 😄

As I am more the slow but stronger guy, who can handle heavy loads for a long time, the lower ratings are feeling better for me currently. Increased ratings are not helpful yet as my technique in the catch is not perfect and to slow if I am rating up. Control gets lost also a bit. I have to go for sessions with higher ratings to train this.
28spm felt really good and I could control the pace the whole "race".

@winniewinser: how do you copy the text? If I copy it from my log all parts are pasted without blanks, so it cannot be read properly (I am using a smartphone).

It's a pain on a smartphone but if you click and hold on a bit of the text then expand the selection you should be able to copy.

@winniewinser: this is copied with Chrome instead Samsung browser... 🤷‍♂️

After 30m steady pace - that 500m TT:

Higher rating was more controlled today, but not as good as it could be. But satisfied anyway 😄

You've only just started and will surely surpass my old man PB's :D ......I'm 50 this month

I'm really working mainly on the Skierg at the moment but will likely come back to the rower to try some 50's racing.
