HOCR 4702

Post by Cyclist2 » February 2nd, 2022, 5:12 pm

The Head of the Charles is sponsoring an erg challenge to raise money for a grant program. Here is a link: https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/ ... 1&org_id=0. I haven't posted my 18:40.1 time yet, I think I can do better.

Here is an observation I made. In the Men's 70+ category (mine) there is a guy entered as unaffiliated by a name that, uh, shall go unmentioned. Any old timers on this forum will recognize the reference. It will be interesting to see what, if any, time he posts.

He'll post a DNS or DNF as usual. He won't want to post his "rowing with breaks" score.

You nailed it!

At least HOCR got his $10 for the grant fund.

I considered the CRASH-B this year but the tech setup was way beyond my current arrangement. Maybe next year they'll have it live again. Good luck to you if you're entered - show 'em what lightweights can do!
