First HM today, so no surprise - a PB 😁😇

1:21:59.0 - after starting slower with aim to stay sub 2:00 split increased pressure a bit as it went good.
I will feel it tomorrow - for sure!
Also got 4 blisters left hand 😅
Wow. This is so good, and at such a low rate too.

Thank you Max!
I think I must rely more on my strength and not waste much power for body movement, so lower rating is probably better for me on long distances. Rating of 20 feels very nice for 10k or longer. Also my breathing is far more controlled in slower ratings.
Today I was not able to increase rating in the end, but I could drive with more pressure to drop the pace below 1:50 to reach the desired time.

Seems that my bodyweight workouts performed in various ways built good base for rowing 😄

Thx KeithT!
During the row I was fine, but at the end it was max effort to stay at the pace to go sub 1:22:00 😄
Today I feel my left forearm, sure this is from the HM row and missing recovery. Trained the day after with mid-high intensity and also yesterday with lighter intensity. But not really a problem 👍🏻

First leg of the TdS, and my most feared: the 5k.

20' warm up - 5' bike and 15' SkiErg at 2:20.

20:18.2 5,000m 2:01.8 194 966 34 174
4:05.0 1,000m 2:02.5 190 955 34 167
4:05.0 2,000m 2:02.5 190 955 34 170
4:03.9 3,000m 2:01.9 193 964 35 175
4:05.2 4,000m 2:02.6 190 953 35 175
3:59.1 5,000m 1:59.5 205 1004 37 185

Delighted that I was able to get a PB, as I didn't think I was in that sort of form.

Could I have gone a bit quicker? Perhaps a little (I could still stand at the end), but not a cat in hell's chance of getting sub-20.

Over to you Alex - I do want to see sub-20 from you.

Today got an idea of what could be possible in a single 2k.
Performed c2's WOD 2x2k 4r (with increasing rate from 26 to 32) and got a 7:13.1 in the second run.
As this was surely not all out I think on a good day with proper warmup probably a near to 7 could be manageable.

Kinda default 10km Skierg 🎿 PB as it's the first go at this distance. Was really intending to row this at base pace 2:06.9 but ego got me 😁. A line drawn for future TDS efforts later this month.

Nice one sakly, 7 is very achievable. Just get your pacing plan in place and don't blast off and you will it have within 3 weeks . B)

I will go for a single 2k as soon as I am feeling more or less fresh at some day.
As I do rowing besides strength/fitness training on a very intense level I am mostly not recovered when rowing 😇😅
The only session on the rower feeling recovered was my first HM last week.
