New 100m PB.

Even though I'm a "sprinter" I struggle with starts, so taking a split off my old PB was neat!

13.2s. 1:06/500
what's even more incredible about this is that on your insta you also own the fastest Half Marathon on the C2 rankings this year - mind boggling range. congratulations!
Cheers Nick! The HM time is a bit "soft" for the top time of the season. But it was a PB for me, do I'm happy with it!

It's been a long time since I posted something here. When I took up competitive cycling again in 2021 I hardly spent any time on the rower. During the cold dark winter months I climbed on my c2 again and last month I decided to help my team out to float another boat in the C2CTC. This month's challange seems to suit my endurance fitness a bit better and I ended up with an alltime PB on the 6k TT. 21:57.7 :D 2 seconds faster then my previous PB.

New to the game - set my first 10k ever: 39:38
Today next 10k: 38:48.8
No TT, but went well so increased pressure on strokes each 2k. Low rate @20spm.
Today third 10k aiming for sub38: 37:47.8
Increased stroke rate and pressure each 2k.
Last 2k was a 7:20 - nice pace, but challenging in the end 😅

This is ranked 170 of 2129 my age group, above 90th percentile - wondering about that 🙃

First ever TT for this piece on the skierg, so just had to finish. Used HR as a pace guide, trying to keep between 160-165 for the first 30', then sub-175 until 10' to go. Lacking in moral fibre a bit for that last 10', but put the hammer down in the last 4' to get over 14200. Was hoping someone in the gym would put the fan on (it shut down after about 20'), but no luck.

Nice celebration for getting to 30 hours in the month.

First HM today, so no surprise - a PB 😁😇

1:21:59.0 - after starting slower with aim to stay sub 2:00 split increased pressure a bit as it went good.
I will feel it tomorrow - for sure!

Thanks all. Of course almost as soon as I'd finished, I started thinking that I could have gone a little further... rating 30 is probably a bit sedate.

Alex, you will sail past this now that you've got your technique sorted out. Keith, with your strength and crossfit background, you'd be well suited to the skierg.

Not sure if I will ever go 30 hrs in a month again, although I was able to take a day off here and there and it didn't seem as much of a grind as the mud season madness. I am intrigued to know if so much volume at slow pace will have any effect on my overall fitness, but I need some shorter harder stuff as well to find out.
