Could you help me with my password?
Oh damn, my crystal ball just exploded - I can't find any user that needs a password reset.
You might want to try a different brand of crystal ball. You seem to have a lot of trouble with ones you've been using.

The brand I use has been destructively tested by the Australians.

The December challenge was the 8th win this season for the MAD Team. Well done.

The Diamonds launched 32 boats; that's a number that's not been seen since FIRT and Sub7 slugged it out to produce the most numerous flotilla.

Welcome to Engine by Carson and Row Along. Both crews made promising starts.

Club Row Crew, having claimed their spot, have the April challenge.

Team Diamonds, having completed three consecutive months as a new team, may claim the May event but must message me for this to happen.

Future Challengers:
February - Rowing Club Mantova
March - U Chicago Crew
April - Club Row Crew

All the best for 2022.

Regards,
Joe

Hi

New to the group.

I did try to register in December and my name appears in the drop down menu but it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect.

Please can you let me know how to reset it. I'm keen to start recording my monthly challenge result.
Thank you :D

Is there a way to remove old usernames? I've got four on there. 1 for Free Spirts, 2 for Fitness Matters (HWT/LWT), and now my most recent "RowAlong" username.

It just looks a bit messy. But I also realise that it may mess up historical scores if they're removed completely, so it's fine if they remain.

Thanks.
John

I can't remove any user that has ever logged a result.
I can change them so the name sorts further down the list.

The whole user/password piece is a pile of crap which worked OK in 2005 when there were fewer than 100 users but doesn't work when there are 10,370 registered users. If it was my code it would be using Google/Apple/FB OpenID usernames with no need for a password by now.

Considering how old the code is, it’s stood up very well.

Don’t worry about my names. It’ll be a nice reminder of my time spent elsewhere when I come to enter my RowAlong score.

Thanks for getting back to me.

John.

It may not be you. That other Paul registered on the CTC some time around December 2019 and recorded a result in the Jan 2020 CTC.

On the registration page pick a different name, add your middle initial, add a special character (like an under bar (_)) and try again.

It's a common name!! Done that and it's fine. Thanks for the help...

Good. Morning,
I am having the same problem with the “password error” message. I sent a message last week and I have had no reply.
There’s only a few days left for the Jan 6k challenge.
