Ski Erg rattling at specific rpm all of a sudden

Hi,

I have a ski erg I purchased in end of June directly from concept2 in Germany along with the floor plate. Lifetime is not even 50k meters.

Today, is started making a very weird vibrating noise at a certain rpm and I traced it back to the fan cage that's attached to the base. When I apply slight pressure, the vibration is gone. I checked to see if there's something that fell inside the fan cage and also checked if the screws on the fan cage, the bolts holding the cage against the base and the base cover (8 torx screws) are fastened correctly.

I can't get rid of the vibration noise, someone have an idea? Here's a video showing the sound: https://streamable.com/ywbjo7

Any help is appreciated. I'm pretty sure this is a warranty issue but in the interest of all parties involved I'd like to fix this as efficiently as possible, without having to pack up the entire thing and shipping it off somewhere... Thanks!

After tinkering a bit with a very helpful c2 representative on the phone, I got a replacement unit. Case closed I guess.
