Lower monitor arm

Does the monitor arm lend itself to being flipped around?

So it can be in a more horizontal position when rowing.

No.

It's meant to position the monitor at eye-level.

Concept 2 changed the plastic molding on the arm so it hits a stop.

Earlier versions of the arm allowed you to lower it further, the problem with lower is that if anyone lets go of the handle it flies into the glass display of the monitor and smashes it to bits.

Trust me that happens all the time, especially when kids get on the rower.

I want to second what Carl said about the handle accidentally flying forward.

It CAN happen, even if you don't have kids around. It's happened to me a few times when I wasn't wearing gloves - my hands got sweaty and in the final sprint Bam! Happily the PM was safely above the fray, and nothing was damaged.
