The Lunies are in 18th place in the Fall Team Challenge, yet this is not what it may first appear! (Objects in the mirror are closer than you think they are.) There's about 35,000 m between the 13th and 18th teams. A couple of days of pushing the erg a bit more, and the place postion will rise! I had planned on contributing a bit to this Challenge, but am not sure that I will be able to do so - at least for a couple of weeks! I thought I had a pulled muscle, but it was a blood clot, went to the ER and ended up staying in hospital overnight. Dang and blast. I have to navigate carefully.

Welcome back to Gene B! Welcome back to Jeff G!

The usual FTC analyser and your own page within it are up and running now folks. Sorry for the delay - I'm injured and forgot the challenge had started

Thank you, Jon!! Our very own K2 does a super job tracking our meters, celebrating our milestones, and keeping us posted on our position relative to other teams in the challenge. But it's really nice to see your presentation, too!

I love seeing all of the meters posted, but hate not being a part of it! One more week and the renovation of our, once flooded and waterlogged, basement apartment will be even better than before. Or so we hope. :D Once it’s done I’ll dust off my VERY dusty Concept II rower (plastic does not keep all of the dust out, in case you thought otherwise) and put some new oil on it’s chain, tell it how much I’ve missed it and get back in the saddle!
Sadly between hand surgery and an epic flood I don’t see how I’m going to be able to get another 100,000 this year, but I’ll do my best to make up for lost time as soon as possible. I’ve missed you guys!!
Hope to be back on the board soon.

Hi All!

I just joined LUNA-TICS this morning if you'll have me!? Prior to joining, I was on a three-person-university-alumni-tied team and unfortunately was the only active rower. I bought my erg at the end of 2017 and have been rowing daily, and more seriously, since December of last year. Sorry to join six days in to the fall team challenge - let me know if that's a party foul! Looking forward to being involved with an active team!

Great to have you! You're making a difference already on the Fall Challenge Team! I did think you might be on an affiliate team that didn't have a Challenge Team, and so you are. Challenge Teams are open for sign on until September 30th, about two weeks before the Challenge wraps up. Of course, some of our fun during the Holiday Challenge will be tempting, too.

Can't report your daily meters unless you are part of the affiliation (because we can't see them) - but we'll call out milestones for the Challenge Team as best we can.

Image 15th!!

There's less than 60K between team position 12 and 15 - a few postings can change the whole ranking! Keep perspective and keep going!

While this is a team Challenge, there's also an opportunity for each participant to meet some personal goals. Many people put a stake in the sand that they'd like to be in the top ten percent of all participants. To hit that ranking today, you'll need to have erged at least 61,000 m. Bike erg meters count for half, so double down if you're on a bike!
