Error 2283 Faulty Wire
Error 2283 Faulty Wire
Has anyone ever had this error? 2283 on a brand new bike ERG. I've checked the connection to the monitor and that is for sure solid. I can't find a single thing on error 2283 except for what it says on the screen. Experiences with this?

Did you get a fix for this? I got a new PM5 sent to me under warranty but after three days the same code has come up again.
It works every now and again but most times it won’t register meters or time. You go to do calibration and the error code comes up.

Same here. Just bought the bike couple of days ago, and today the error appeared.

Hey, my update.
1. Told to update monitor. Failed to update sent new monitor.
2. Received new monitor, ran update. Worked for a week, error code returned.
3. Received new generator still not working. Turns on, can toggle screen, nothing happens when you cycle. It once requested calibration. Worked once. Next ride nothing and error code re-appeared.
Bonus Note. HR and service has been excellent. BikeErg not as nice so far..

Sorry about your issues with the monitor, but why would that prevent you from riding?Morro9, Have you solved it yet? Haven't been riding in 2 months now because of it.
