Transfer history to C2log

Post by Ianrm1 » August 6th, 2021, 9:48 am

How do I transfer the history from the PM5 to the C2 log. I've been using my BikeErg now for 3 weeks and would like to upload the workouts (almost 180k) to C2 LogBook
I realise that I probably could have done this (at the time of workout) by using ErgData app, but didn't do it. Can I do it now by using a memory stick. If so, precise details would be highly appreciated.

You can't.

The log will only accept new rows from this season (May 2021 to April 2022) that's either with the C2 Utility or Ergdata (or by manual entry for the tech challenged folks).

You can add a total of metres rowed from a previous season, but not individual workouts (without a lot of effort) @ https://log.concept2.com/summary

I've just sussed how to upload my rides to the C2 logbook. Quite straightforward: Download the C2 Utility and then connect the bike to your computer using USB A to USB B lead. Follow instructions. Simple. I've now got all my 197k of rides since the middle of last month in my logbook. I'll experiment with Ergdata, but I can't seem to get this to work if I'm using Zwift or Kinomap.

Congratulations, that you didn't take "You can't." for an answer!

If I had read your question earlier, I would have said : (1) insert a USB stick in the PM5, (2) press Menu, (3) wait some 20 sec until USB LogBook appears in the Menu, (4) Press and press again for LogBook Utilities, (5) Select Move Workout.
You can move any workout on the PM5 onto your USB stick and transfer it to the C2 log.
This is the routine I use because the ergometer and the computer are difficult to connect by a USB cable.

I always write my sessions in a steno pad, then add them manually to the log book.
Adding 21 days this way would be quick and easy.
