I'm just curious . . .
Anybody on this forum silly enough to be interested in participating in an IronErg event? Marathon ski erg, marathon row erg, 100km bike erg?
I'm thinking about working towards this challenge, but it would be more fun if others were interested in being involved. It could be some sort of competition or possibly a charity event.

Re: IronErg
If I had all three, I'd probably be up for it for giving it a go.
My loft conversion, where the rower is, doesn't have quite enough headroom for a skierg, and I just can't take to indoor cycling so that would be a waste of money: inexplicably I get bored after 10 mins.

Re: IronErg
I have all three. Could manage the Row and the Bike with some preparation.
No way i could do a marathon SkiErg, I'd cramp up not even half way through.

Re: IronErg
CantClimb - realistically, I'm a ways off of a full marathon on the ski, too. Depending on who (if anybody) shows interest, I am thinking about allowing it to be partitioned however one chooses: e.g.
12.2k ski
12.2k row
10k ski
10k row
50k bike
12k ski
12k row
50k bike
8k ski
8k row
Stu - another option might be to find some mates and complete it as a team.

Re: IronErg
Lots of deranged individuals up for challenges, they dont all have the ski/bike ergs to go with erg.
Was considering getting a bike for the gym (in refurb as we speak) to compliment the rower, not sure that is on the cards at the moment, whatever you do enjoy yourself and il watch from the sidelines.
