Well done Rich. How much did you beat me by? You must have gone so fast that you broke the website as I can't get onto the CTC site now :D

Finished with a 37:56.1.
First goal was to get you, 2nd goal to break 38minutes. So all goals met. Thanks!

Nice one! Well done Rich.

Hmmm... 10 seconds for me to find...
I'm concentrating on my running this month so won't be able to have another go at the CTC... probably :?

I can't get onto the CTC site either :?: so something funky there.

Last time I was on, I saw that Linda Vorhees had a go and managed to get our 3rd boat floating. Way to go Linda!

I too redid the CTC challenge in the morning - improved my time slightly (not by nearly as much as Rich). Did my first 10 k in the afternoon and was still able to walk afterwards! Good summer solstice day all around.

Now, just waiting for the sun to set on the day.

Yeah, you can get me unless running takes priority. I've been cycling and golf.

Can't get into CTC page either, but did just notice doing 22KM today put me over 1 million! Woohoo!

Added my scores and created the Forum Flyers Team, so if you are on there and I dont recognise your name let me now and I'll add it.

Always find this site quite good for motivation. I see there is a Macroth/Rick/Meerkats log jam!!

Hlo All, it's been a while. About a decade I think. Hope you're all well.

I joined a gym this month and started rowing again. No real competitions in sight yet so plenty of time to catch up. I'm slow. I see Chris the Meerkats is still around. How do I rejoin tbe amazing FF team?

Kris
Kris, good to see you, yes like a bad smell i am still here. Got the rowing mojo back myself, let make sure we enter a comp when they come back live and see how we do

Awesome. It's great to still see you around. Still digging mud? Or you shifted your interests elsewhere ;)? I'll be doing the CTC from July. But it seems we need more ladies to fill more boats.

Whp4 (Bill Palmer) is a Flyer too and part of that logjam. Add him to the Flyer team.

Great to see 700mph rejoining the fray. If we got all of our past members out of retirement we'd be a major force. Bums on Seats! (as Meerkats has said)

Just registered for this as "wolfr". Please add me to the team. I'll get started on posting times later this month.
Thanks!

I've now transferred my 2021 login to 2022 so can you add me to the team too? I'm on the nonathlon as Spike.

Thanks.

Hi everyone. Got my CTC entry in, and gotta agree with you all, it was rough. Not feeling great about it given what I think I could have done a couple months ago but I’ve got no gas left in the metaphorical tank right now so I think that’s going to be my only attempt and I’m just going to be glad I made it through it :?.

Nice effort Sheena! I hope Sue offers up a challenge to you in the CTC. I enjoy your friendly back and forth with her--you're both so evenly matched.

My intensity-level tank has been running low all month, and this CTC really tasked me. If I would have known how wasted I was going to feel when I finished (I had my doubts I was going to finish), I would have backed off the intensity and mailed it in.
