Connecting BikeErg to Zwift via Ipad
Hello everyone. My BikeErg will finally be arriving later this week. My plan is to transmit my power and my heartrate from the PM5 to the ipad (zwift) via bluetooth. The only hesitation I have with this is I read somewhere that pm5 only transmits "average power" via bluetooth. What does this mean? Will I have to buy an Ant+ dongle and use my laptop instead? Does anyone else use their BikeErg bluetooth with an Ipad?

Re: Connecting BikeErg to Zwift via Ipad
Hi
Maybe it's just referring to an average over a pedal stroke or two?
I've only briefly used the PM5 with Zwift on an iPad for testing, but mainly use it with a PC via ANT+. I don't think it makes a difference to what is being transmitted to Zwift.
I've noticed that over ANT+ there is a small lag between what I'm seeing on the PM5 and what is shown on Zwift (and that's with the instantaneous option chosen for the Zwift display). I don't think there is too much averaging going on between what the PM5 is calculating and what is displayed on Zwift.
As far as I know there is more granular data being fed through to Zwift than what is updating on the display, but I can't download a CSV file from my logbook at the moment to check what is being captured.

As far as delay is concerned, I have a road bike on a Wahoo Kickr and when I start pedalling harder, it also takes a second or two for the wattage on the screen to catch up (again, with instant updating)
