The only other time I did a 6k piece on the SkiErg, it was an actual time trial, and I HD'd (HU on the SkiErg, actually) for well over a minute before convincing myself to finish.
Today's effort was just a training piece (500m on/500m off, pace 2:05/2:11), so a case of tortoise beating hare (not that anyone would ever describe my athletic pursuits as hare-like...).
A PB is a PB, no matter how soft.

Having your own erg can be a big factor in getting better, as you know it's well maintained, and you can feel more comfortable on it. Did you 10-15k regularly before the first lockdown?
