Just been doing pushups for a couple of weeks. Not a challenge, thats not so my thing.

Started out doing 100 reps, on the minute, 20 rep sets.
Now do 125, 25 reps the set. Again on the min.

Also just looked at weightvests, maybe buy one. But most are sold out. Over here the gyms are closed now for over a year, bizar if you ask me.
My wife walks around the house and also exercises in a weighted vest. She feels it's been a great addition.

I've been doing 100 pushups/day for years. Four 25 rep sets. I just grab a set when I catch a quick break at work throughout the day. I find them to be an excellent complement to rowing.
Never tried them myself, but can see how it works.

Short series through the day are almost no effort at all, indeed do completement a rowing motion well.
The only thing to watch for with the weigh vest is depending on the type they can hang down when in pushup position and sort of shorten the range of motion. Best to use one they stays tight to the body.

Can’t do handstand ones but I do - set 1 piked - emphasis on shoulders; set 2 incline - feet elevated; set 3 normal; set 4 decline - hands elevated. Keeps it interesting and hits it from all angles.

One way to build up to the HSPU is with dumbbell shoulder press combined with also routinely holding a static handstand position for a timed countdown interval against a wall on a regular basis.

The problem with stuff like that is intensity. Pushups can be done often because of the relative low impact, if you can a decent number of reps. Those others are way harder, so much more prone for injury.
