Michael,

Great.

I know how you feel as I passed the first one million meters on Sunday and thru this and slight change to diet have now lost around 9kg at a nice steady rate.

See you at the two million mark!

Neil

Great job, Michael!

I have hit one of my goals: the top 50% ranking in all events up to the 5k. I've also hit the top 50% in the 10k, 30min and 60min.

Still hoping to make 1 million meters by Fathers' Day, but that's looking hard at this point.

Dave
My 500 and 1k times were set 2 days after I got the C2 I know I can do better, but the challenge is to do better and keep a lid on my heartrate. As my fitness improves, I should be able to do that. I might have a go at improving my times at the start of the new season.

Well done Dave, you must be pretty fit!

Michael

I'll join in the fun I suppose.

Short-term Goals:

1. Improve my 10k time from from 41:34 to 40:34 before 07.01.2005.
2. Row two half-marathons (at any pace) before 07.01.2005.
3. Row a full marathon by 08.01.2005.
4. Participate in one gorow.com class by Xeno by 09.01.2005.

Long-Term Goals:
4. Manage 1,000,000 cumulative meters no later than 01.01.06 (in the last 8 weeks I've rowed 250,000 meters; thus I expect 1,000,000 meters by, roughly November-05.)
5. Improve my times into the top-half in every event 2k or longer.

kc

ps - just waiting for back strain to fully disappear before retaking my place on the erg; in the meanwhile, I'll be on my bicycle :-).
