What's your goal? Lose 10kg? Row a marathon? Get on the dang machine and row 4 times per week? Whatever it is, tell us here.

And tell us when you make it!!!!!

Here are my goals:

1. Reach 50% ranking in 500, 1000, 2000 and 5000 meters for my age/gender/weight class.
2. 1,000,000 meters by Fathers Day (June 19). This will require a little under 11,000m/day

Dave (41/M/95kg)

Good topic!

Mine are to:

1. Make LW (I started at 82Kgs in Oct '04) I think my weight should sit around 72-74Kg. I'm nearly at this goal, my weight has been sitting in the 75-76 range for about a week.

2. Eliminate the remaining flab around my midriff. I'll be looking to replace this with lean muscle

3. 1,000,000 by the end of the season (Started Oct2 '04, sitting at 867k today) I need to do just under 40k/week to make the target.

4. Get Fit (of course!) I need to be able to keep up with my very active 12 y.o. son up at the snow in July.

Having only been on the erg a few months, I'm not chasing speed, although I have watched my times and speed improve over that time. I'll be looking to maintain these gains next year. I should be able to keep in the 5K+ average/day annual meter board.

Michael

My goal is to row a half marathon during the marathon challenge. By the way, this is a huge challenge for me. I am now up to 10k rows in a sitting. I've been rowing for 2 months and have 107k total meters.

My main goal for the coming months is to row a Half Marathon at 1:48.5/500m pace, which will give me a time of 76:20.
I am at 1:50.1/pace at the moment, so have some work still to do.

Sir Pirate

Originally my goal was to get back into decent shape so that I didn't die every Saturday playing soccer and to lose some weight (91kg->77kg). That was accomplished a while ago.

Short term goals are 15k in an hour. HM about 2:04 pace. Marathon under 3 hours. Finally get my weight to 70kg to run a marathon under 3:20 in late June in Rio. 3:20 qualifies me for Boston. My dad ran Boston over 50 years ago. 22 years ago I qualified when it was much tougher but never ran (college track).

Long term goals are Sub7 2k (right now 7:18). Marathon under 2:00 pace and run one under 3 hours hopefully at Boston.

I must be crazy.

Saude,

andy

My goals are:

1- Get in the first place in the ranking of the 2km, in my categorie (women´s heavyweight, 20 years old). In the general ranking, get between the 5 first places (now, I´m in 20th.)

2- Get erg record time in 2km in South America. I think I can do it... I don´t have the exact time, but the record is aroung 6.50, and I´m not too far (6.57), but it means a lot of work!.

3- I´d like to make a try in a half marathon. But, i´m far away of that goal yet... all my training now is exclusive on water. Maybe next year I´ll make it.

Cheers! keep erging!.
