This is no soft PB! This is a great row and like you said your pace was better than 5K pace - you can smash your 5K. Great work! Overall, paced well too. The 6K is so odd to me and have only tried it like 2 times but since the CTC might give it a go Wed.

That's a great PB Stu, and so short after your 100k attempt makes it even more impressive, well done!
Curious to see how fast a proper 5k will be
Thanks fellas.
Keith, I think my previous 21:09 was a little bit soft, but this was anything but soft. It was probably all I could squeeze out today. It is a strange distance, and I think it's only my fourth ever go at it.
Martin, yeah, it does make me think that a sub 17:10 5k might be possible, as it probably would have been a 17:14 5k today. The 100k HD is a strange one as it's a different type of feeling, which is hard to describe but it's like a dull feeling, a lead cloak and a vice around your lungs for the long stuff, and a sharper, more intense feeling for the shorter stuff.
I'm not sure that they both take from the same energy source, as one seems more about fitness, and the other to do with Central Nervous System co-operation
