So after joining the team, do I have to wait until the next challenges start to be able to contribute? For example, my km rowed don't count towards the annual total until the season ends? I assume this is true for the shorter challenges but didn't know if this applies to the annual challenge as well.

Hi Chairmanm, Your individual meters count towards your individual total (the meters you row in a year). When a team challenge comes along (I think the next one is the Fall team Challenge in August) then you'll have to press a button that says 'Join challenge'. If you're already a member of Team 50+ get Miles to add you. Then, once you begin the challenge, all your meters also get added to the team meters board. Have at 'em!

Hello too Silverfox367, you'll need to get in contact with Miles, our team Captain. He can add you to the crew.

Happy rowing all!

Apologies for the silence lately guys, real life got in the way and I've not been able to log in for a couple of months.

I do hope everyone's fit and healthy and doing ok in these weird times.

Hey there El Capitano!

It's been quiet in here since you left. Maybe the next team challenge will get everyone back?

Hope all is well with you.

I got screwed up with the Mud Season Madness challenge due to a vacation, but honestly I think the week's rest from the erg was a good thing. In any event I won't be getting my certificate for that challenge.

Working on the team challenge now --- might be difficult to stay on track however considering the very nice and unseasonably warm weather here right now. Doing my best though :)

Hoping everyone is having a great spring (or fall depending on location) :)

Just got my box and joined today. I am planning to bbuild it and row tomorrow.

I got a hip-replacement three months ago. My surgeon recommended rowing. My best-friend recommended C2.

Hey Valdus!

Good advice from both your doctor and your friend. You should have no trouble assembling the C2.

Happy rowing!

Hi Valdus,

You were obviously chomping at the bit when you wrote this, haha (if that is the proper expression). 😊
So how did you do these past few days? New hip keeping up?

By the way...

Just contributed my first meters to the challenge and I noticed that team 50+ only counted 13 members. 😧 But aren’t we a lot bigger? It would be such a pity if people forgot to join the team challenge. (C2 reminded me I still had to click the button, so I did.)
It is such a great motivation to know I’m not on my own. Pandemic rowing can otherwise become quite a lonesome business.
Let’s all join! 😅

Thanks Ante!

I completely forgot to join the challenge.

Have changed that now. Though I doubt my meters have made much difference to the team total.

I did the beginning row. I liked following the form (back, body, arms, arms, body, back).

Now any advice on what to do next? Simply follow the podcast forever?

Also, my ergapp did not pick up my work-out. Do I have to have the app open in order for it to log?
