Very generous of you Jon. I've just been clocking up pbs for events I've not done before on the skierg.jsarche wrote: ↑March 10th, 2021, 7:26 pmSeems like the time of year for a lot of new PB's (I'm looking at you, Max, and you, strupotter - awesome work, both of you!) - does that always happen near the end of the season?
Adding another of my own - this is two new PBs for me in the last 10 days or so, and I'm planning for a third soon in the 10K.

This is 39.1 seconds faster than my last 6K time trial, which I did last June. That was about two months after I started rowing indoors as my main form of exercise. I was aiming for sub-23:00, so hit my goal. Man, the 6K is kind of a weird distance - too long to really go for it, but too short to not really go for it. I think I hit the pacing pretty close to just right for me, though.
Yours is a proper pb, hugely faster than your last go at the ugly stepchild that is the 6k. Looks perfectly paced with a slight slow down through the killing fields before speeding up again towards the finish.
Nice job.
