Does Model E fit in a Prius Hatchback?

Post by ToddMR » February 28th, 2021, 2:52 pm

Looking to sell my Model E and a prospective buyer asked if it will fit in a Prius hatchback.

Anyone done this yet? Specifically interested in the Model E fitting, not the C/D.

Thanks!

The only difference is height, no? Take it apart into two pieces, fold down rear seats and you're good to go.
I fit my model D into a Skoda Fabia hatchback, Prius should be a bit larger still.

There is a height difference, as well as a fixed monitor arm.

I appreciate your answer, but I’m looking for someone with actual experience fitting a Mode E into a Prius, not an opinion on whether it “should” fit.

For what it’s worth, I was able to transport a Model E in my 2004 Toyota Camry. We removed the front legs under the flywheel and was able to fully close the trunk, but don’t recall if we needed to fold the back seat down but space-wise, fitting the ERG Model E in Prius is very doable.

I have tried it. Wouldnt fit at first then i got the oarsman to put his head out the sunroof. It does fit in a 2004 camry though and a pickfords removal van.
