Session Data Error
Session Data Error
Hi All,
Newbie here, just started rowing this week. I did a 2x10 minute row with one rest interval today. When I uploaded the session, the graph and data were garbled. I have attached a screenshot of the log. I did exactly the same to connect as previous days so what caused this anomaly? Any ideas?
TIA

Do you use an app such as ErgData for example, or do you manually type it into the logbook, whilst also typing in the verification code? Also, I can’t see your screenshot.

Re: Session Data Error
Hi Freddie,
I used Ergdata while rowing and then sync afterwards. This worked in my previous 3 workouts.
Regarding the attachment, it seems that I am not able to attach anything to my post nor add it in the body of the post. So not sure how to address this issue but have contacted site admin for advice.

Re: Session Data Error
Use a site like https://imgbb.com to be able to post an image. As for your issue, I’d say your best bet is to email C2 directly at this email address: info@concept2.comRodc88 wrote: ↑February 13th, 2021, 8:15 amHi Freddie,

They have great customer service, best of luck.
Edit: make sure PM5 firmware and the ErgData app is on the latest version!
Re: Session Data Error
Thanks so much for the info. I will give the workout another try today to see if I get the same issue and then will contact concept 2 directly.

Either send an email to rowing@concept2.com or fill in the contact page @ https://log.concept2.com/contact
There's some level of corruption in your Ergdata data on the https://log.concept2.com/ site.

Re: Session Data Error
I've seen similar a few times. I use a ton of Bluetooth (headset, HRM, Ergdata) and have ordered a cable to see if that makes the problems go away.
Check your PM5 - all the data about the row in your history on the PM5 will be good.
Check Ergdata log - it will show bad splits, etc.
You should definitely report it. C2 support is great.
This is old now, and may not longer be accurate, here was status when I reported it. "..There is a known issue with ErgData Android where the app stops collecting stroke data or the stroke data gets mangled in some rare instances. We have not been able to reliably reproduce the issue which makes fixing the issue challenging. We are currently working on a new version of ErgData which we hope to have out in the first quarter of 2021. .."
