For a piece on cross training for Runners World, I'm looking for people whose primary sport is running, or who run as much as they row, & who cross train on the erg. You can post here, or reach me at bbdavenport@cox.net
Thanks,
Barbara Davenport

I rowed in college for a season, but not for the next 20 years. I stopped running for a couple of years because of a perplexing injury. I've started using the erg to get in shape before I had my knee scoped and then afterwards. It's now a regular part of my routine, and I've averaged about 17K a day since the season started. I've started running again, and I'm seriously considering running the Heartland 50 in KS in October.
