10 million miles on a Model D with a PM5? That belongs in a museum.

I got into it enough a few hrs ago to see that you were 20K out of second place. Gronks was closing in on 125. Norma had hit half a million and then it crashed again.
Team was 300K above Pelham young bucks

Me too! And the older I get the more I try to live it out loud.
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, used up, totally worn out, & loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Are you talking about the Concept2 site or the Free Spirits VTC analyser? The Free Spirits one is having issues retrieving data from Concept2, so I wondered if anyone else was having issues on the Concpept2 site itself?

I keep getting "403 Forbidden, nginx/1.8.0" when I try to access my Log.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Me too. I have emailed C2 support but I suspect we are not alone. The odd thing is I can access the log from my phone but not my laptop
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
I was able to get everything uploaded about 30 minutes ago, 6pm eastern time zone.

I received an e-mail reply from Concept2 support this morning. They suspect that there's a small amount of play on the axle. They're going to send me new washers to "help hold a tighter fit on the crank arm". They sent the following instructions for the swap -
Removing the torx screw on the end of the axle is going to be ... fun.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 1.2
Day 25...! How's that Revolutionary Challenge coming along?!
https://log.concept2.com/challenges/vtc/2021/teams We're 9th among virtual teams and 15th overall...
I'm going to finish this later. It has started snowing pretty heavily up here and I'm going to get out of Dodge while I can.

Interesting. My Gen 1 BikeErg has a spline shaft, so this fix would not apply to mine; but looks promising if the goal is to fix crank drift along the axle of your newer design.TallErgs wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 12:07 pmI received an e-mail reply from Concept2 support this morning. If you haven't already thought of it, I would strongly suggest a more robust tool than the included assembly driver to tackle that Torx fastener on the end of the axle. Mine uses T-30 Torx fasteners and I soon found the included driver inadequate and shifted to using a T-30 bit with a 1/4" ratchet wrench. Here's a pic comparing the included Concept 2 driver and my setup:
The ratchet wrench with the appropriate T-27 Torx bit will obviously give you a lot more torque on the fastener and should make the job a lot easier.
Good luck!

Good call on the ratchet and bit. I have a set in the garage that will prove useful. I haven't heard the sound since early Sunday morning, so I'm hopeful that it's going to stay temporarily fixed until the parts arrive or the challenge is over.William H wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 12:44 pmInteresting. The interesting aspect to the sound is that when it was happening I could immediately make it stop by standing up and pedaling. As soon as I sat back down the sound would start again. Same power output according to the PM5, but the angle at which the force was applied to the pedals / crank arms was different.
