Congratulations, Zach! That's a lot of calories to replace ! Great to see that you're closing the gap in your quest of top spot (I know you said you wanted to finish in the top 10, but the top ten percent of the top ten would make you happier!).

I did something to my knee and had to cut back on my intensity and duration of rowing while I let it heal. But am still trying to get an easy couple thousand meters in every day that I'm able to. Weird thing is, I don't even know what I did. Not swollen, just hurts to bend or completely straighten it. Even stretching hurts! But its slowly getting better. So s l o w l y.

Oh ouch...there is a remembrance here for me. Perhaps a visit to an ortho guy or gal to see what your knee baseline looks like?

Probably a good idea, but I’m in denial hoping that it’s an anomaly. I had surgery on the other knee about 5 years ago and shoulder surgery more recently. So I’m putting it off.

https://log.concept2.com/challenges/vtc/2021/teams We're 9th among virtual teams and 15th overall...
Huge individual contributions continue to mark our Lunie Challenge Team's meteoric zoom through the erging galaxy. Zach has now moved into the number 3 spot of all contributors - and I have no doubt he is tracking the other competitors in this quest. Many of our teammates have reached, or are close to reaching, some other big milestones in this event as well. Ron M has reached the 500 K milestone, and Norma and Robin are within 50K of the 500 K whopper. I'm sure they have all blown the January Revolutions Challenge out of the water! Well done everyone!

Swapped pedals today - it feels like a bearing is going out in my left pedal. It's not like I'm going to be riding my road bike, so it made a donation to the cause!
Edit: not the pedals. Something in the drive train of the BikeErg is clunking. Perfect timing!
