There must be another "how to" thread somewhere. So maybe my first question should be, "How do you find that thread?".

But I was trying to do a search based upon a specific poster. Mike Caviston has had discussions ongoing about his Wolverine Plan, and since it is not self contained in any one spot, inside or outside of this website, the only way to get a comprehensive view of it is to read all of his posts. But they extend back years.

He suggested using the search facility to just pull up his posts, but the search page does not seem to support that. It actually does a lousy job of filtering at all. I entered his name in both the topic and the sort by poster slot, and the result was every post from every forum with or without anything to do with Mike Caviston.

Please explain. Is is possible to select a poster, and just bring up only his posts?

Thanks,
