PM5 firmware 15 to 31 upgrade

Post by ZKRING » January 8th, 2021, 12:43 pm

Hi

I bought an c2 with pm5 and im looking all the maintenance they didn't do before.

Right now the Firmware version its 15 and the hardware version 338. Looks like it's 2014-15 for the version.

Before i patch it i want be 100% sure its safe just upgrade directly to the last version.

The hardware version need to be the 31, but i don't know if i could update directly to the 31 or i need be update version to version.

Thanks

Preferably use a Windows 10 laptop with a fully charged battery and also plugged into the mains with a printer USB cable to do the firmware update.

I just tried with the USB stick option and i got Code 1850 -46. Formatted USB in FAT32.

Gonna keep looking for more info.

Don't use a USB stick, thats why I said use a cable.
