Ergdata on Laptop?

Hi all,

I want to be able to show the ergdata display to the camera when I'm recording the occasional test effort. The only spare screen I can think of using is my laptop.

Is it possible to run ergdata on a laptop? I understand there are android emulators, but my laptop doesn't have bluetooth - so, is it possible to pick up the PM5 information via USB using this method?

My backup option is to pick up a cheap amazon fire tablet which I think is £35 at the moment and could do the trick, but I'd rather use my laptop screen if possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Chris,
the PM5 can be connected with a Laptop, you only need a printer cable (this way I use the Concept2 Utility software to update the PM5 and sync workouts to my log when ergdata crashed).
Unfortunately I haven't tried an android emulator so don't know if this works with ergdata, hope others here can help you.

This is the better (only) option. You may find a cheapo tablet at CEX (starting at about £12).
