Would it be possible to update the PM5 to allow for two app connections?
I am currently trying to use the Holofit VR app along with my Garmin watch and Concept2. In order to sync the workouts with my Garmin, the PM5 needs to be connected via Bluetooth to the ErgData app; however, in order to use the Holofit VR app, I have to disable the bluetooth connection to the ErgData app in order for the Holofit app to connect to the PM5. So in order for me to sync my workouts, I have to manually switch connections from the Holofit App to the ErgData app and then sync. I tried to maintain the ErgData app connection via usb cable, but it doesn't seem to be able to connect that way on the PM5.
So it would be helpful if the PM5 software could be updated to allow two simultaneous app connections (i.e., the Holofit and ErgData).
Allow two app connections
Re: Allow two app connections
Hello
I’m also interested in a similar setup i.e. allowing 2 apps running simultaneously connected to the PM5 via Bluetooth.
When you say “ I tried to maintain the ErgData app connection via usb cable », do you use the special cable (from LiveRowing) to connect to the PM5 USB?
As this is a question for which I didn’t find a clear answer yet:
Can the PM5 handle 2 silmultaneous connections, 1st one via Bluetooth (to connect to RowedBiker app on the iPhone) and 2nd one via the LiveRowing USB cable (to the ErgaData app on the iPhone)
Is anyone able to answer this question?
Thanks

Re: Allow two app connections
When I mentioned the USB cable, what I meant was that I plugged a USB-C cable from the PM5 into my android phone; however, it didn't seem to display the data from the PM5 onto the ErgData app with that setup; at least I couldn't see how to get it to work.
I thought that the work-around was to temporarily connect my phone to the PM5 after my workout in order to sync the logbook so that the data would sync with Garmin Connect; however, even though the workouts do sync with the logbook, they aren't syncing with Garmin Connect. The only time I've been able to sync with Garmin Connect is if I have a bluetooth connection during the workout....but if I have the bluetooth connection with the phone during the workout, I can't also be connected to the Holofit app.
