Great work Big J!
Fascinating to see how fast you improve, you'll soon have very few ergers here for a friendly competition
Right now we could challenge each other at the sprint events, but I'm working for the longer distances atm and when I'm back at the sprint stuff you're propably way too far away for a challenge
Totally right Jo Andre, 8500 is the next great milestone for some fellas here, Stu and Keith will hopefully get it soon, and looking at Ian's latest results I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he just rushes through and hit 8600
I would not take you out of the picture for the longer distances Martin, considering up until recently you were mainly sprints(and very good at it) and shorter distances, you seem to be handling very high amounts of training lately, so I will be very exited to see what will be next after you hopefully(to not put too much pressure on you) break the magic 16k

Realistically you are already at 8300+ now on a good day.
Thanks mate, but right now I'm simply no challenger for guys like Stu and Keith, they can do the same pace for double the distance. Nevertheless I'm very happy my my endurance training and see good progression, 8300 right now should be about right and maybe 8500 as target for next season
When will we see your 60' PB? Your confidence must be sky high after this cracking HM PB
Well, to be honest I am not too sure it will be in 2020 the way things are going right now. Work is crazy, yesterday I was working until going to bed, and got up just over 5 AM this morning to continue.
So in addition to a huge work load, I am also an emotional eater, so high work load=crap diet
I just took a break from work to do a 60 min 16k which normally should be quite easy. Today it felt heavier than ever

Well well, we will see what happens

I think this week will be just getting the kilometres in at fairly easy pace.
