Congratulations, Brett, on achieving ONE million meters in the Fall Team Challenge! I am pretty sure that all three Concept2 ergs were involved in this achievement, too. You're in an elite group of those who have completed a million meters (or more) in a 30 day Challenge. Way to get it done!!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 10.15.2020

Post by Kona2 » October 16th, 2020, 10:42 am

Image MILLION FALL CHALLENGE TEAM METERS !!!

Thanks to all our Fall Challenge Team participants for a TOP TEN FINISH !! We had a couple of memorable days of skirmishing with teams above and below our Challenge team's position with Free Spirits Rowing and Dark Horse Rowing. When teams have greater numbers, it is difficult to surmount any deficit....particularly on the final day when ALL the teams are erging their collective brains out. I imagine that seeing the Luna-Tics ahead by 2K around midnight added fuel to an already well stoked fire. The next TEAM challenge is the January Virtual Teams Challenge...we hope you'll consider erging with us at that time!

Here's a link to the listing supplied by Free Spirits - knew we'd need some extra super hero capes and stickers for all our participants...all the contributions that added up to our SIXTEEN million. It is one of our higher totals achieved in recent Fall Team Challenges. Good stuff! So take a look at the list of individuals who slogged away so we could come in as one of the top ten finishers.

Thanks - my distance via Bike Erg pales in comparison to some, so I have to truly enjoy the unexpected days when I get to be queen of the boat! The replacement knee gets better and better. Still have swelling - and probably will at least until Christmas according to the surgeon. There are days when erging is more painful, but NOT doing it is much more costly in the long run. So I do it. Happily, only one knee had any issues so this is a one off.

I finally reached the top of the waitlist to purchase another bike erg, so that I can contribute when I am at the remote location. However, there is a wildfire with zero containment within a few miles of the house ... and this is scary. And on my mind. So keep your fingers crossed everybody that the wildfire situation in WHICHEVER state you're in calms down. Our winds here are fanning the flames of the Cameron Peak fire, and the one closest to my remote location is called appropriately the East Troublesome Creek fire. Run bambi run.
