Two 20km rides magically became 20km rows at a 58 second/500m pace. I was quite let down when I had to convert them to rides in the logbook. :D

He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire !!

Whoop, whoop and what a rocketship full of meters he has! Congratulations, David A, on achieving a TWO million meter erging season. David's one of the most consistent rowers on the team - producing a steady amount of meters throughout the year...so, I thought I would take a look at where he was at this time last year. On October 14, 2019 his meters were 1879735 ...he's running a bit ahead this year! WOW! We wish you many, MANY more!! And October 14, 2018...he was at 1,671,672 m ....how about that! A steady increase year over year!

Even more surprising, the team as a whole last year was at 52 MM on this date...and here we are with 74 MM today.

Looks like Dark Horse lost a teammate (and so late in the Challenge...argh!) and that could be what is a primary gap closer for us...well, in addition to everyone erging their very brains out. Zombie season you know!

New to the forum - joined the LUNA-TICS just for the team challenge based on the team origins and looniness. COVID kept me out of the gym so I bought a Concept 2 Rower in July 2020. Former runner, soccer player - this challenge has been fun and logging the meters has been a blast. Two more days. I thought that we might catch Dark Horse. Off to log another 10k for my birthday - today - then have a few beers and make a dinner of shrimp and grits. Cheers to the Loonies!!

Apologies for not rowing much the last week, been dealing with a death in the family, and still haven't quite recovered from pulling an all-nighter to make the meal for the funeral. I did at least (barely) scrape over the 100k line last weekend, so I'll add what I can tomorrow night when I'm able to get back on the erg.
Started rowing 4/22/19.
PBs: 1min - 314m, 500m - 1:40.0, 1,000m - 3:45.3, 4min - 1,082m, 2,000m - 7:41.0, 5.000m - 21:18.2, 6,000m - 25:41.6, 30min - 7,010m, 10k - 44:40.5, 60min - 13,112m
